Gomes is asking why the CF threw the ball to that dude standing behind the pitcher's mound.

:laugh::laugh:

Of teams currently in contention for a playoff spot, we're 2-9 against them in July & August.

And as the season progresses, there will be fewer in contention and the Reds will still be in contention. No Panic yet.

If this had been the top of the 5th, do you pinch hit for Wood?

Pretty misleading. Outside of the Cardinals series the Reds were unfortunate in several games. Granted they were loses but they lost in walkoff fashion 3 times against the Phillies.

Not panicking, but saying that Cowherd (in spite of how much I hate him) has a valid point--that the Reds struggle against upper-tier teams.

Now that's funny.

I understand, but there's nothing misleading about being 2-9 versus teams currently in 1st or 2nd place in their respected NL division.

I listen to that moron nearly every day at lunch. He has some spoon fed research and tries to stir as much manure as possible. Wish they'd can him and bring Kornheiser back.

Here's the rub. You beat the others and you make the playoffs and then anything can happen. Please don't buy into the Cowherd schpeel.

Way to come back out and shut them down after cutting it to 2.
