I would like to say "IT DIDN'T COUNT "

You go right ahead and you would be absolutely correct.

Thanks !!( If I could only get my wife to tell me that..........)

From what I understand HC was able to complete a few "bombs" on the Tiger secondary. Thye were not equipped to do much with those - as I hear tell -- altho that again could be attributable to the X-D.

I think some questions might get answered this Friday.

Are the Tigers down??

Has B really arrived and are they serious contenders ???

You were there and had a good view of the scrimmage, so you should know. However, HC did not generate much offense, passing or running the whole scrimmage, as you should also know.

The Tigers will face a tough battle against Ballard one of the Class 6A Distict 5 powers. With some devistating injuries incurred in the Henry Clay scrimmage the Tigers must prove they can contend with the second best 6A team in Class 6A District 5 or possibly even the state for that matter. The Tiger's shortage of depth may show up early this year. The lesser talented Tigers will have to step up and do the best they can against the mighty Bruins. If the Tigers go out and play their hardest and with a prayer and a little luck thrown in we may be able to escape with a victory.

Will be a great game!!! Class 6-A outside of the big three has needed a serious contender & though it is still too early to tell, Ballard atleast looks the part. After saying all that, I will still have to go with the defending champs in a barn burner St. X wins this one 42-41.

St. Xavier 35-21.

I look for a great game but the Tiger's will develop a way to win a close one. Who was hurt in the scrimmage and who is not playing, or is that classified information!

I would think that a game of this magnitude the coaches will not want to let out any information regarding starters, injuries or any other pertinent facts prior to kickoff.

This will be a low scoring affair mistakes or turnovers may decide the game.

A game under their belt helps Ballard take an early lead in the game, but the Tigers roar back and make Paul Young's white socks proud by winning 28 - 14

This post reminds of me of a "Leonard's Losers" statement!:lol:

I think that X will have a tough time. Ballard appears to be very tough this year. If X wins I don't see it being by much.

Love to see it..Male verses Eastern. Hate to put a HEX on the Bruins, but playing a real game has to help. Bruins 20-19

"Coach Mike Jackson takes his battling band of Bruins to Germantown this Friday night to take on 120 or so caged Tigers. The bears woke up from hibernation last week mean and hungry and slapped around the Panthers of PRP. Things won't come so easy this week as Mike Glaser's feisty felines won't let any ursine critters soil their turf. Leonard's Loser: Ballard."
