I know we are talking Alcoa here but is Middlesboro really that bad this year?

Alcoa is just that good. Only a few elite teams in KY could even play with this team they are loaded with talent.

Alcoa is that good......Middlesboro can and will play good with the teams on there schedule, just shouldn't have scheduled Alcoa. To much talent on that team, not sure any other team in KY can compete with the Tornadoes.

What about Highlands?

Alcoa beat Bell Co last year 42-12.

Doing a little searching, I found this on Alcoa. 6 consecutive state championships. Last year in 15 games only two teams scored more than Bell Co's 14 point (what this website says). They sound like an absolute powerhouse.

Alcoa is for real. I've watched them a few times since moving to TN and they are an absolute maching. The only game they usually lose is to Maryville, crosstown rival tht is two classes up and usually wins their state class as well. Alcoa beat them last year and is predicted to beat them again. No shame in losing to them at all.

Alcoa is the real deal, probably not the team to schedule unless you want to get humbled. They are a small to medium school in Tennessee, but would lay the hammer down on most KY schools, including those in NKY.

 

UK's Randall Cobb is an example of the caliber of players that go through Alcoa's program.

What about Highlands?

I've not seen Highlands play this season and I really don't know anything about them. I have seen some of the great Highland teams in the past and none of them could match up with Alcoas total team speed and they are as fundamentally sound as those Highlands teams. I'm not saying Highlands would lose but WOW that would be a great match up , I would make the trip to either Highlands or Alcoa to watch it.
