Cincinnati.Com Chat with Highlands coach Dale Mueller (Highlights)

Actually, I think the new interview should be in a thread of it's own. Some may get confussed when they open the thread thinking the first interview was today's interview. Just a thought.

That's a good idea. I'll admit I was confused , but I have been for years ! :D

Are we sure that was Dale answering the questions ? I mean no "golly gees " or "gee whiz " through out the whole interview .

Highlands is obviously the best program in NKy and Dale is a class act!

Highland may have kids from 4 counties, when you win people will come.

Why always bring stuff up like this?

It seems that in every thread about Highlands, you bring up something about residence. In the Frosh thread, you took a shot about the incoming freshmen not all having played in the FTJFL, when it had been clearly acknowledged in a previous post as to where the incoming players are from.

What's your point? No one who supports the Highlands program has disputed the claim that Highlands has students form outside the confines of Ft. Thomas.

If you think you have evidence of any illegal behavior, you are encouraged to report it to the KHSAA.

Otherwise, it just appears as petty jealousy to bring it up in every post. If it bothers you that much that Highlands has kids from outside Ft. Thomas, stop reading any thread with Highlands or HHS in the thread title.

Excellent post and I agree 100%.

HHS having kids from NKY as a whole just shows the talent pool that exists here. I think it's something to be proud of for the entire area. Its perfectly legal for a parent to send their kid to HHS and pay the tuition. No one should be complaining. It is what it is and their rich tradition pulls kids with talent looking for exposure.

You couldn't be more right. This is always my answer to the recruiting accusations. HHS doesn't need to recruit - the winning does that for them. The fact that it is the top K-12 public school in the state year in and year out helps also.

BGBird, you may have a valid point regarding dennis12b's history of posting, but within the context of this thread, I take what he said as a complement!

Thank you, my point is that any kid in NK can go to any School they like, so please remember this when someone brings up private Schools in NK. And by the way my Grandson plays in the FTJFL.

And by the way you make it sound like FT has the best kids in the State, they have a great Football program, but I am a old old man and I can name some great players that helped you win State that were not from FT so be thankfull for all that help.

I always have to laugh at how many people seem to think there are. Got to love the uninformed.

Agree, that was the way I took it also.:thumb:

Who was talking about a private school in NKY? Highlands is a public school.

So , will your grandson continue to play football for Highlands or will he be attending a Private school down the road?
