August 7, 201016 yr Author I know I've seen very little of him, but it looks to me like Juan Francisco can move pretty good. I see no reason he couldn't play a decent LF.
August 7, 201016 yr I know I've seen very little of him, but it looks to me like Juan Francisco can move pretty good. I see no reason he couldn't play a decent LF. I'm probably a broken record, but I'd go ahead and put Heisey out there.
August 7, 201016 yr Brandon Phillips 4 Paul Janish 6 Joey Votto 3 Scott Rolen 5 Laynce Nix 7 Jay Bruce 9 Drew Stubbs 8 Ramon Hernandez 2 Edinson Volquez RHP Heisey goes 0'fer one day and then put on the bench. Come on Dusty give the kid a shot for the rest of the weekend.
August 7, 201016 yr Springer to the DL, and Fisher is called back up. I thought Chapman was the lock here... :idunno:
August 7, 201016 yr Heisey goes 0'fer one day and then put on the bench. Come on Dusty give the kid a shot for the rest of the weekend. I think it's much more likely that he gave him 5 straight starts, and is just giving him the day off.
August 7, 201016 yr I thought Chapman was the lock here... :idunno: I think they want to wait until they're in Cincinnati to bring him up.
August 7, 201016 yr Brandon Phillips 4 Paul Janish 6 Joey Votto 3 Scott Rolen 5 Laynce Nix 7 Jay Bruce 9 Drew Stubbs 8 Ramon Hernandez 2 Edinson Volquez RHP Don't really mind the lineup...With this lineup, no choice but to hit Janish #2 IMO, unless you wanted to maybe give Bruce a shot at it. The only thing I really don't like is that Hernandez is back out there....Isn't this something like 4 of the last 5 for him?
August 7, 201016 yr I thought Chapman was the lock here... :idunno: Insurance of having along relief guy with Voltron on the hill.
August 7, 201016 yr I'm probably a broken record, but I'd go ahead and put Heisey out there. I think you are more of a Heisey fan than his own parents are haha
August 7, 201016 yr I think you are more of a Heisey fan than his own parents are haha Maybe lol. I just really like what he brings to the table and I feel like he has been very productive in the limit experience he's had in the big leagues.
August 7, 201016 yr Maybe lol. I just really like what he brings to the table and I feel like he has been very productive in the limit experience he's had in the big leagues. I agree and I think he should be getting a fair shot to play everyday. But when it's all said and done, I think he is the perfect bench guy to have. He has been incredibly successful as a pinch hitter(by far the best one the Reds have) and provides a HUGE spark off the bench. I could see that being huge in the playoffs.
August 7, 201016 yr I think it's much more likely that he gave him 5 straight starts, and is just giving him the day off. Yeah probably tired!
August 7, 201016 yr Didn't realize that Wells was 3-0 with a 2.30 ERA against the Reds. Hopefully we can get the bats going.
August 7, 201016 yr Springer to the DL, and Fisher is called back up. What's wrong with Burton, I guess they wanted a long relief guy?
August 7, 201016 yr I think they want to wait until they're in Cincinnati to bring him up. Probably for an attendance boost.
