Are you sure this is not the final 2009 MaxPreps KY football rankings, instead of the 2010 preseason rankings list? I am pretty sure your list reflects the end of last year's rankings, but it may be that MaxPreps feels these teams will begin 2010 where they left off last season.

 

It's hard to believe that three of the top seven teams in KY are based in NKY, but if they are, then great!

I can't wait till August 27th get to watch Ryle play Highlands and then the next day SK plays Middletwon.

Its a preseason game. Although you can bet both teams will be on full throttle for this one!

This scrimmage will be played just like a game I'm sure. I can't wait, this should be a great way to kick off both teams seasons. :thumb:

I guess the number of state titles in the game is the draw here. Quite frankly the HHS/St. X games in 05 and 06 were not huge for Ky. Neither games attendance was impressive at all.

Attendance shouldn't be the only criteria for a quality game. Many times the regular season tilt between St. X and Trinity draws more than those two playing in the state finals. I would imagine the attendance for that game would be greater than the attendance for say Highlands/Withrow.

I guess. I do think Highland/Withrow at PBS would draw better than the HHS/St. X tilt in 06. I was there. There were very few X fans there. Go a bit farther back to the HHS/Elder games played at PBS and and at Elder, then I seriously doubt T/HHS touches those attendance figures. All speculation though.

Especially only being a scrimmage. Heck, it won't even be the Super Bowl of scrimmages.
