Went up and watched HHS for about an hour today. The Birds scored 4 or 5 tds when I was there. I saw a ton of dropped balls for the Birds that would of been big gainers or even tds. Towles and McCoy looked good throwing the ball for the Birds. The defense looks to be further along at this point in the pre season which is understanable.. I saw maybe 1td for Anderson the time I was there. I saw that Sheehan didn't play today. I think he had some dehydration issues yesterday..

Actually he got kneed in the calf and sat out today and probably tomorrow as well. They also had a couple younger guys step in and go a great job.

Yeah today at RB was Compton, True, Henderson, Seidel, and Donovan. WR was Gold, Gall, McGhee, Christian, Hergott, Green, and Hiltibran (sp).

Highlands vs Mason County today @ Highlands from 9-12. Go and watch this one! You will have the chance to see 2 of the top 5 players in the Junior class in Josh Harris from Mason County and Patrick Towles from Highlands!

Beechwood faced Highlands Tuesday, Dixie Wednesday and Boone County Thursday. Highlands was very strong as expected but Beechwood held their own the last half of the workout when the 1's faced off. BW looked a little stronger than Dixie. BW handled Boone County, who did not look good in a 7 on 7 with Thompson at QB. Football season is a month away. Pads don't even go on for 2 weeks so take all results as just fodder for discussion...and little more. A lot can and will change over the next month.

Dunbar beat Creek , Harrision , Montgomery and Estill last night.

I think you could say Conner is 2-0 in the 7 on 7 competition thus far. Handled Cov Cath in a lengthy workout on Tuesday night and out scored Dixie in a hot workout Thursday morning. Beechwood on Tuesday of next week.
