Weight sessions missed for b-ball games , practice with the team , playing catch up when the summer baseball league is over. Makes them feel like they need to choose baseball or football. Alot of reps are missed with teammates that could benefit timing and jelling of a team.
I agree,it really hurts football. Football is going to always be put on the back burner in KY. Kids should play other sports but when that sport is not in season they need to concentrate on football.
Holy Cross coach called the offense which primarily used the Pistol formation. Bad choice cause we could not move the ball. Nothing but screens and short - intermediate passes. Not smart when you have two or three of the best RBs in the state on your team.
