Track the Reds (Week 13)

Featured Replies

I slept like a baby last night. Had they lost that game after outhitting the Cubs 16-5 and wasting all those opportunities, it would have been an exercise in futility for me to have tried to sleep. I wouldn't have even gone to bed.

That's what we kept saying yesterday. We have so many hits and yet we are tied with the Cubs, so I definitely agree that we won after crushing them in the hit column. The have almost 30 hits in the last two games...solid. Especially since it was against both teams "Aces".

Winning games....

So now you want to give the "Toothpick" all the credit for the Red's winning games? We can only hope that we don't have to depend on Dusty to win games for us and the team continues to play with the attitude that they can't lose.

I agree with the trust thing but you are trying to win a game for the team not protect one individual's numbers.

Is this not what you said? You said they're trying to win games as a team, and I merely said he's done a good job of accomplishing that thus far.

Sometimes I really wonder if people on here actually read posts or just make random comments...

Votto wastes no time extending his streak with a walk with 2 out in the 1st...I think that's 40 straight games now.

His 100th hit of the season as well...

He's slugging right now.

Reds still up 1-0 going to bottom of 4th.

I swear this particular Reds team chases more balls out of the strike zone than any team I can ever recall.

I agree 100% - Dempster has 8 K's already thru the first 6 innings. Frustrating

He's averaging a K per inning for the season so the Reds aren't that far off of his "normal."

Wow I did not look at tha stats but did not recall him as being that much of a strike-out pitcher. Give us time though, we will help him even more today I am sure!!! :D

Regarding the strikeouts, the Reds have K'd 8 times today amongst 7 hitters, the only 2 without a punchout? Gomes and Stubbs! Who would've ever guessed that?

Alright I jinxed him!!! Back to back walks by Dempster to start out the 7th!!!
