I cannot believe they did not hire Ledford. Twice they have passed on the right man for the job. I wish Ledford the best of luck in whatever he chooses to do.

I am hearing that he is staying on. If he stays on, that shows that Denny Ledford is nothing, but a class act.

Don't feel too bad for Henry County the man they hired is very high quality and if deserve has anything to do with it he certainly does.

Dennis Ledford is the type of coach I want coaching my kid whether he is an assistant or head coach; two times he has applied for the head coach position both times poistion given to another coach and yet he stays at Henry County. That can only mean one thing that he is genuinely there because he loves the game and the kids who he coaches. Coach Johnson fans please do not take this the wrong way because I know he is a genuine coach as well. Just saying it shows with Ledford coming from Frankfort everyday to be we these kids after all this! Good Luck Wildcats ready to get this season started!

No one has mentioned the Graham had a cookout with players and their families 4 days before jumping ship. He professed "this is the right place" ' date=' talked of his love of the team, the community, his staff and the administration that hired him. He should have been a carnival sideshow barker or snake oil salesman instead of a high school football coach.[/quote'] It was the right place 4 days before the other job opened up. Give the guy a break. If one you parents were offered a better paying job you would probably take it too. Henry Co. will probably do better with Mr. Johnson because he has been with them for a long time. You will be fine.
