Does Palin have an answer? Or just likes to tell you who to blame?

With her lip curled in her perpetual petulance, Palin announced that Obama has allowed BP “to define the facts of this spill. You can never be allowed to do that as a CEO and be on a level playing field, being equals there at the table when you allow one side of the table, in this case, BP… to define the facts.”

It was clear that, for whatever reason, O’Reilly was not about to just hand over his show and turn it into a showcase for Palin. He evidently wanted her to earn her place there. First, he challenged her by saying, “49% of Americans still want BP to run the show and only 45% want the government to run the show.”

O’Reilly went on to ask, “What is your solution, here, Governor? What would you do tonight – tell the nation tonight, what you would have said, the main point in that speech. Go.”

Palin obviously had no idea. “Stopping the gusher,” she said. “That’s the number one priority of the nation.”

“But nobody knows how to do it,” O’Reilly countered.

“Well, we haven’t had the assurance by the president that that has been his top priority.” Her voice rose with more condescension, as she continued to evade the question and, instead, went on to accuse the president of making “cap and tax” his greater priority and “using this crisis… to increase the cost of energy.”

“Are you telling me that you don’t think the president’s top priority is stopping that leak? Is that what you’re telling me?” O’Reilly asked, not bothering to hide his incredulity.

O’Reilly said that the reason he wanted Palin on his show was because “there is not a governor in the United States who has more experience than you do dealing with the oil companies… BP says, ‘We don’t know how to stop the leak.’ …Obama obviously doesn’t know how to stop the leak. Do you know how to stop it?”

No, Palin didn’t.But rather than own up to it, she launched into another attack on Obama, this time for not accepting “the assistance for foreign countries” (which has been accepted) and “entrepreneurial Americans.

Does every post you make about Palin have to be negative? :D

^ She is what she is.:D

Yep! Typical political figure.

My post was mostly an attempt to be snide.

On the contrary, I'd actually call her atypical.

Me too. She's a vacuous finger-pointing Tina Fey lookalike.:D

Now that's funny!

Sarah Palin is the best thing that has happened for the Democrats in the past decade. McCain blew any chance he had to win by picking her as his VP and now she is becoming the face of the Republican party. The Dems can only hope she continues to stay in the spotlight. Someone else in the Republican party has to step up and become a recognized leader or the next presidential election is going to be another Clinton vs. Dole where the Republicans nominate a candidate with no chance to win.

Replace Palin with Obama and reverse democrat and republican in you post and it makes just as much sense.

Color me shocked. A thread about one person morphs into a thread about someone from the other side of the political aisle. That may be a first for this forum. Now I've truly seen it all.

This worries me. I hope Republicans don't choose her as the party nominee for president. Obama will more than likely be a one term president, but Palin is not the route to go to make sure that happens. I'm a Republican but I don't think I could get very excited about a "Palin For President" bumper sticker.

I honestly wish she would right a book and refuse all interviews............shes hot but that is about it.

Shocking! :scared:
