That's the best lineup they can go with right now...Good to see Dusty continue to stick with it. I would like to see Heisey get a few more starts though.

Boy I wish I was as smart as Chris Welsh. Just for one game I wish he would get laryngitis. The man never shuts up!

Why is Hernandez swinging first pitch with Stubbs on first and one out? Give him a chance to steal second please!

Nice throw by Stubbs, I still can't believe they are wasting a roster spot on him. Cueto is throwing batting practice. That's 18 hits allowed in his last 9 innings. His location is just awful.

I'm not real fond of any of the Reds TV announcers. I usually watch the Red Sox game on my laptop with audio and keep the Reds game on the television on mute. I'm not allowed to put up a Dish so I can't get the baseball package on my television.

Going myself Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

I know this is in another thread but the Red's just drafted a switch hitting catcher from the "U" named Yasmani Grandal.

As much as I hate to listen to Dick Vitale I think I hate Welsh more. At least Dickie V gets laryngitis once in awhile.

Out of boredom last night I figured out projections for the Reds starting 8 hitters. They are on base for some Big Red Machine like numbers :

Phillips 120 runs 45 doubles 18 hr’s 60 rbis’s 20 sbs .285 ba

Cabrera 75 runs 35 doubles 9 hr’s 70 rbi’s 20sbs .267 ba

Bruce 95 runs 25 doubles 8 3b’s 20 hr’s 70 rbis 14 sbs .266 ba

Votto 95 runs 30 doubles 5 3b’s 30 hr’s 105 rbis 15 sbs .318 ba

Stubbs 90 runs 18 doubles 10 triples 18 hr’s 75 rbis 30sbs. .241 ba

Rolen 90 runs 35 doubles 38 hr’s 112 rbis .288 ba

2 Catchers combined 55 runs 33 doubles 10 hr's 82 rbi's .325 ba

Red's draft pick Yasmani Grandal playing now over on ESPNU.
