Seems like special privalege and special deals. who paid for public housing?

CLEVELAND - A U.S. immigration court has granted asylum to President Barack Obama's African aunt, allowing her to stay in the country, her attorneys announced Monday

Onyango moved to the United States in 2000. Her first asylum request was rejected, and she was ordered deported in 2004. But she didn't leave the country and continued to live in public housing in Boston.

Onyango's status as an illegal immigrant was revealed just days before Obama was elected in November 2008. Obama said he did not know his aunt was living here illegally and believes laws covering the situation should be followed.

Sure am glad I'm not held responsible for the activities of my extended family.

That would be a tough cross to bear for some of us.

Extended family or not. The law is the law. Shouldnt the President of the US lead by example and at least make his own family follow the law.

A court granted asylum. Did the president interfere with the processes of the court? Is that the assertion here?

Sure am glad I'm not held responsible for the activities of my extended family.

Or even my not so extended family.

Would like to know about her living in the public housing. That bothers me.

Obama didn't know and he believes the laws should be followed. Good enough for me.

yeah me too. Maybe I could get a lifetime subscription for free because I know I am right. I mean seriously how do you not know where your aunt lives if you are the Pres of the US. What really bothers me is when he (suposedly) found out she was here. Why not help her get legal citizenship and help her out financially. Not like he doesnt have any money. I am poor and help my extended family.
