May 28, 201016 yr Author Voting to allow government oppression of a 1st amendment right. What about freedom of speech? Should we put that one up for vote? While we are at it...there are occasionally some protesters on Bardstown Rd. that are a pain in my butt to walk around. Would you see if you can get the city of Louisville to allow a vote to have them removed? That's right, jump right into ridiculous comparisons. This is a rather sensitive subject for many Americans obviously and it's understandable. You don't always get to build whatever you want wherever you want in this country, sometimes opposition halts it for whatever reason. There is opposition by many about the building of this mosque and if the opposition stops it, so be it.

As a matter of fact I believe each person has the right to believe what they want. even if it does disagree with my beliefs (Christian) I am glad I am not narrow minded also. BUT I DO believe in standing up for what is right. Do you honestly and seriously believe the peole who want a mosqe built neat the WTC just want to do this for no obvious reason but to make a mockery of it. Maybe the 5% want to do bad out of 95 %. Should you or I be allowed to build a church there? Should a Jewish person be allowed to build a Synagogue there?
