All I know is that Wade is a smaller guy that gets punished a lot more than most. If two people are running a 10 mile race but one guy is hit with a baseball bat at every mile marker, the miles do not stand up equally. That is all I am saying.

We will see if his body will hold up to that style of play deep in his career.

June 30, 201016 yr What players would you suggest in this market to follow that blueprint? I don't know. I don't expect they could get them all in one off-season. And, I'd probably get the best players I could...Bosh, Amare, ?. But, I'm just saying, I'm not convinced Bosh will excel in that role. Lebron and D-Wade don't seem like selfish guys, so I think they could play together pretty easily. But, they're going to be the top two options and that won't leave a ton of shots for the rest of the lineup. How will a guy who has been the franchise in Toronto respond to playing extended minutes where his rebounding and defense is all that is needed? I don't know, but I think it's a valid question. I'm trying to think of some guys who might work, but I would have no idea about their availability, contract situations, etc. But, I certainly think a team with Wade and James could opt for a long athletic guy to fill the PG slot, because they won't need a true PG a la Chicago.

June 30, 201016 yr I've got news for you a 29 year old w/ only 7 years in the league is not very old at all. When LBJ is 29 he'll have 11 years in the league. How many times has Wade gone 82 games? He's played 61 once and 51 twice. Not exactly a ton of miles. Why did he miss 80+ games in those seasons? That doesn't really help your argument, IMO. That only proves that Wade has struggled with injuries in the past.

Injuries aren't a terrible think early in your career. It saves your legs. ie... Jordan, Michael. Minutes are what matters most if you came back from injuries healthy. We'll see. No matter what Wade is nothing close to an old 29.

Or he may have more longevity because of his great size and athleticism. Sure he plays a reckless style, but he has only been hurt a handful of times and I think has only missed 26 games in his career. There is a good chance his athleticism could go quickly, but I think there is also a good chance that it won't. It will be interesting to see. Well that, and he quit on his team. Better natural defenders? Scoring-wise yes, other basketball skills I don't see how either is that superior to LBJ, and I don't even think Kobe is his equal in other facets of the game. I know you hate LeBron, but I don't see how anyone could say that he doesn't have the best overall skillset in the NBA today, he is really like Jordan in that regard IMO. Better dribbler: Jordan, Kobe, Lebron Better shooter: Kobe, Jordan, Lebron Better defender: Jordan, Kobe, Lebron Better passer: Jordan, Kobe=Lebron Better playmaker: Jordan, Kobe, Lebron (I see a playmaker as when his team most needs it, who makes the plays, either for themselves or teammates) Lebron has the edge in athleticism, size, speed, quickness, and strength.
