Your basing that off their defense last year they had so many underclassmen on defense. What I dont get is everyone wants to talk bad about Boone but at the same time talk so good about Cooper, IMO Cooper hasnt done anything yet to make me believe they will be a good team and compete with other 6A schools, Dont get me wrong Bradley is a heck of a runningback and a great kid but he picks up almost all of his yards against 2A schools. Yes everyone is right Cooper will improve this year like every year no doubt about it, but will not be able to beat Boone or any other school in thier district.

I do think Cooper will get there first district win this year . It will be down to Boone , Conner , Or Campbell County . I think it will be a close game all three . It will come down D. Cooper will be able to score on all three teams.

I will be the one too go out on a limb and say Cooper gets their first district win....a lot coming back for the Jags and some hard work this off-season will lead a suprising Cooper squad!! Can't wait for August!!!

Is Cooper improved that much?? Or has Boone dropped that much?? Or both?? :confused:

 

Cooper in my opinion has the best rb in northern kentucky in Bradley, the kid rushed for 1,000 yards last year with zero help from the o-line, Simpson rushed close to 2500 but he had the bes o-line in the state.

Let's please say were kidding when it's between Cooper and Boone. I mean thats just funny. That wont even be a game. Boone will easily beat Cooper Conner and the camels. They will beat Dixie just like they do every year. And sk is so overrated. Ryle will be extremely tough they will have a outstanding team. But Cooper? Come on now haha.

Last year Boone's season depended on how well the quarterback performed with the pass and if he could pose a threat with his speed. The QB position didn't accelerate to the passing or run threat level many had hoped, and I feel the same will be this year as far as an area needing to improve. Bryson Thompson has been named the QB and he will have a tough job on his hands and a load of pressure from teammates and fans.

On the defensive side Boone just needs to get stronger. A majority of the times last year, kids were in position to make tackles, but due to lack of strength and experience they weren't getting the job done. Boone faces a rough road with Henry Clay, Anderson and Highlands all at the beginning part of the season, so they will need a senior to step up and get them through those games and on to the district games. LEADERSHIP will be key winning or losing!

 

Rummor has it the QB position could be up for grabs at Boone. Heard through the grapevine that Bryson Thompson might not play this coming season. I will have to wait and see when summer practice starts.

Henry Clay's first game is at home against Boone. I think Henry Clay is the top team in 6A they have atleast 6 D1 players. They have 4 players over 290 pounds and some very fast skilled players. This will be a ugly one for Boone I am sorry to say.
