Henry Clay's first game is at home against Boone. I think Henry Clay is the top team in 6A they have atleast 6 D1 players. They have 4 players over 290 pounds and some very fast skilled players. This will be a ugly one for Boone I am sorry to say.

Wow! Maybe Boone should just forfeit this one! 4 players on a team over 290 means nothing in a game that requires 11 skilled players on the field. I do know Henry Clay has some top notch receivers that the Boone defense will have to deal with just as Henry Clay may see some surprises from Boone!

I'm sure St.X, Trinity and a few others will have something to say about the Henry Clay; according to you being "the top team in 6A".

If they do the right things with the talent, a few players will be a bit of a surprise compared to last year.

I think St. X will have more overall team talent and that's what it takes to win, not to mention a very good coaching staff. I recognize thesecomments in similarity to another poster on this site that made some other pretty funny predictions and assumptions. Who are the two D1 recruits that HC has?

I have seen T play 2 years ago and I watched X almost get beat by SK I think Henry Clay can

be both of them. Henry Clay returns there best WR Green very fast, there starting QB, there top 2 RB's, and there OL and DL are big and fast.

Who are the key players for Boone? And everyone wants to know who the starting QB will be for Boone? Will their line and defense improve this year?

I'll say Boone is going to struggle with Cooper also. Last year, Cooper initially had the momentum but shot themselves in the foot when they were inside the five yard line. Another problem last year was Cooper's lack of ability to be able to throw the ball. I feel this year Cooper has a very good chance to be able to pass the ball a bit more with Morris at the helm. Well, assuming that he is named the starter during summer practices.

Cooper will still have a rough year, they will struggle with Boone, Thopson has alot of tradition and wont let his team lose to the Jags!

 

But im not sure about the top players? They have a few stand outs, but im not sure who all they lost and who all is coming back??????
