I'm not arguing, but could you give your reasoning? I'm not questioning you, I just don't know anything about betting, the spread or how to try to base a winner off of the line.

 

Well, and this is totally just my opinion on it, after the way game 5 ended, most are expecting a Celtics win, or at least I'd assume as much. With a spread that close to a "pick", you'd have to imagine most people are going to jump on Boston. It's my opinion that the oddsmakers set the line at a point where they not only think they can get the most action, but at a point where they can profit the most off that action. They're basically begging you to pick the Celtics with that spread, which to me says that they feel they can make the most by people laying hard on Boston.

I agree w/ you and your line of thinking. I think Cleveland was favored in both games in Boston earlier.

 

Do we know who the refs are for the game? For Boston's sake I hope it's not the guy that isn't a big Doc Rivers fan.

Here's a rather rough article that kind of sums up the Boston series for the Cavs. Someone should pass this to LeBron, he could use some humble pie. Whether or not they come back and win the series, I think it's going to help him in the long run.

LeBron saw that Boston was on fire and decided to save himself for game 5 when the game started to get out of hand. That way he could be fresh for game 6 and have 2 days rest before game 7, because he's played better with rest this postseason.

Antawn Jamison is my least favorite player in the NBA. He's never attempted to challenge a shot in his career.
