May 13, 201016 yr I think one thing that has been somewhat overlooked with the Celtics success thus far this postseason, is the decision to give more minutes to Big Baby. He's played extremely well this postseason IMO. Same can be said for Tony Allen.
May 13, 201016 yr I think something else that everyone overlooked is how many weapons the Celtics have. They have 4 guys that can go off at anyone night, and chances are that at least two of them are going to be playing well at any one period of time or game. Garnett saved himself for the playoffs. Outside of Gasol, there's not another 4 I'd take over him out of the teams left. When Ray Allen is on he cannot be guarded because of his quick release. Pierce is just waiting to go off, he's a money player and will be there when the C's need him. And Rondo's play speaks for itself. Their role players know their roles and play hard. The Celtics are a team built for success in the playoffs. A team that knocks them out this season is going to have their hands full.
May 13, 201016 yr Author C'mon Lebron, let the senior citizens in Boston have one last run. We would love ya in Chicago and would be happy to have ya! :thumb:
May 13, 201016 yr I'd love to see LeBron on the Bulls... LeBron + Noah on the same team? I'd watch that show.

The only advantages Cleveland has over Boston is age, and LeBron. The Celtics just flat-out have more talent than Cleveland, and when there really is no tomorrow, as is the case with this Celtics team, it's a dangerous situation for opponents.
May 13, 201016 yr ^I honestly felt that Mo would play more consistent this post season. I gave him the benefit of the doubt for last year. Jamison has been a huge disappointment. Celtics have more talent, but there is still another game or (hopefully) 2 to this series.
May 13, 201016 yr This isn't the first time Mo has came up missing in big games. I'm still waiting on him to actually show up for a big game. BTW, does anyone have the "stones" to pick the Cavs tonight?
May 13, 201016 yr I'm still waiting on him to actually show up for a big game. BTW, does anyone have the "stones" to pick the Cavs tonight? What's the spread?
May 13, 201016 yr What's the spread? I couldn't find out. I have no idea how to read those things .
May 13, 201016 yr Celtics -1.5 meaning they are the favorite but barely. With that spread, the smart money is a bet on the Cavs IMO....
May 13, 201016 yr The first quarter will tell us all we need to know IMO. Not necessarily by the score, but by the way both teams are playing. If the Cavs are attacking and drawing fouls, I like their chances. If Pierce and Allen are on, the Celtics are going to be tough to beat. I think LBJ and Rondo will both show out tonight. And if the game is close, I think Garnett vs. Jamison will be the difference unfortunately.
May 13, 201016 yr With that spread, the smart money is a bet on the Cavs IMO.... I'm not arguing, but could you give your reasoning? I'm not questioning you, I just don't know anything about betting, the spread or how to try to base a winner off of the line.
