If it wasn't for the injuries...

Not an injury, but I always think of Len Bias, and what kind of career he could have had.

I am fairly certain that Michael Jordan doesn't achieve near the status he did if Bias had lived to be the ying to his yang.

Lymon Bostock is an interesting name to bring up....he was an unbelievable talent.

NBA: Bill Walton around for a while but never achieved what he could due to injuries

Cannot think of the name of the KC Chief running back who drowned

Although mayber not Hall of Fame numbers Nick esasky's bout with vertigo really cut his career short..............

Just clicked on this site to list Bill Walton. Good call. Very good chance that he is in the discussion as one of the top 5 players of all time barring injuries. And probably between him and Wilt/Russell as who was the greatest center of all time.

Add Reggie Lewis from that time when the Celtics were getting all the horrible news.

That would be Joe Delaney, I have his rookie card...

Also Penny Hardaway and Brad Daugherty in the NBA.

I didn't realize Daughterty only played 8 NBA seasons, it sure felt longer. What about their '86 draft, Daughterty, Ron Harper and Mark Price all in the first round.

Len Bias...I totally forgot about him...he was amazing!!!

He still had a great career but I think Griffey would have been in the conversation for greatest player of all time had injuries not hurt him. He could do it all.

Without question.

Len Bias...I totally forgot about him...he was amazing!!!

So true. Can't believe no one had mentioned him.:thumb:
