Probably not. They're only open for like one hour anyways. (The one here opens at 10 and stops serving breakfast at 11...kind of pointless)

 

Didn't Wendy's have a failed attempt at breakfast too?

 

I'm already so pressed for time in the mornings, if I CAN fit breakfast in there, it's barely enough time to drive thru and get a McGriddle. No way would I be able to waltz in and spend the 5-10 minutes for Subway to make it and that's if no one else is in line.

 

This will be a failed experiment I'm afraid.

The only time I ever get it is on Saturdays, and only if I have enough time before work. Other than that, I'll grab something at the house.

I fired Subway from my preferred places to eat. The only ones in my neighborhood have new owners and none can speak English so I stopped going there!

Subway now opens at 7am not 10am.

It's really good if you're trying to get a hot sandwich for a decent price and not eat too many calories. I have one a block away from work so I've walked up twice in the past month. I think their biggest problems have been mentioned on here though. A lot of people don't eat breakfast and a lot of people don't have time and would rather hit a drive thru.

No but the time and confusion and frustration all increase. Language barriers can be frustrating at a FAST FOOD restaurant.

Surprising the owners wouldn't know the language if their in the fast food business. Unless in their particular neighborhood it's not an issue.

 

As to the topic, I didn't know Subway had breakfast. I just keep thinking of a twelve inch bacon sandwich. Dang, I'm hungry.

Thanks blue, that was going to be my response. Not worth the effort to support a business if they are difficult to deal with. Too many other options out there!

I think they are / will try to pitch "come in for breakfast and get your lunch footlong sandwich to go to avoid having to come back at a busy time / leave your office / go out when it's hot or raining or cold, etc." I know the Subway near me (which is in a gas station) does this. I've filled up gas in the AM and picked up a footlong if I know lunch is going to be a hassle. They will give you packets of the stuff that might make the sandwich messy sitting in the fridge (mustard, mayo, etc.).

So here's the deal. After reading this thread, I'm at the airport, I see an English speaking person working the counter so I thought I'd give their breakfast a go. I ordered the sausage, egg and cheese muffin (my McDonald's favorite) and hash browns. It was horrible. The "eat fresh" motto can be thrown out of the door. The meat was not very tasty, had that pale look to it. The hash browns were reheated and not at all good. To boot they were out of milk to wash it down.
