That's your opinion ace. Others may see it differently.

I have asked for examples . . . none are forthcoming.

There are several posts on BGP that contain quotes by our President that some would view as radical. I refuse to re-post any of them. I'm tired of the excuses and spin that's been put on them...By both sides. My point is that even I understand why you may not see Obama as being radical. I just can't understand why many on the left can't understand why some do view him as being radical...That's all. It's simply a matter of opinion, Right?

For example. When I see him apologize for America, abandon our allies and appease our enemies I see that as being radical. I can't recall other presidents doing it as much and in the way he does. IMO it's radical.

Silly, SKINPIG. If you lean at all to the right, your opinion doesn't matter these days. Know why? Because they HAVE to be racist opinions.....
That is an opinion piece. Still not sure how that is a radical program, whether it failed or not. Plus, I think the school is still out on whether any of these programs will be beneficial.

Did I not see on Squawk this morning that the DJIA and Market are going gangbuster. Up over 11000, historical path not seen in a couple of decades?

Considering your love of thinkprogress, that's pretty funny right there.

i have never claimed that they were experts, I even asked on one of the posts if the last paragraph was actually true or not.

I have asked for a radical policy from Obama - not radical words or statements. Here I will put the little guy up again. . .

If the United States is attacked by a country with biological or chemical weapons the White House lawyers would ascertain if that country is in compliance with the NPT (Non-Proliferation Treaty). And if it is, if it has kept up with its IAEA inspections, it gets immunity from a massive nuclear retaliation. Our response in the past was we will obliterate that country with a Nuclear response. That was the Bush II policy, Clinton policy, the Bush I policy, the Reagan policy, well you get the idea. From Kennedy on we had a policy of extended deterrence, now we're starting to look like a paper tiger.

I find that rather radical of Obama. Stupid too.

I find his health care mandate radical.

I find his continuing of the bail-outs radical.

I find his spending extremely radical.

I find his treatment of Israel radical.

For the short time he's been in office, that an awful lot.

Please refresh my memory on which post you "asked for a radical policy from Obama", I can't find it. I did find one where you said "he has not really done anything radical" though. I also found several posts in this thread where you refused to rebut or answer? Even though it's quite evident you will give absolutely no consideration to what any of us think is radical about obama, I would really like to hear your answers to some of the previous posts. The racist post you made is the one I'd most like to hear your response to.:popcorn::popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:

the whole "michelle makes a slip" thread is a reminder that the president is African.

That is the whole point of the birther movement is to suggest that Obama is black. The southern secessionist movement is because he is black, the new Oklahoma militia is because he is black.

Radical . . .

Continued Bush's bailout policy - is that radical?

Propped up the countries automotive industry - to save jobs and peoples lives, is that radical

Continued Bush's war in Afghanistan, and increased the troop level, is that radical

Cut taxes on small businesses - is that Radical

Cut taxes on most of middle American - is that radical.

Want to try the underbomber in court, like Bush did with Reid - is that RADICAL?

Wants to regulate banks so that they don't take unnecessary risks and lose the money people have invested in them thus destroying lives - is that really radical?

healthcare - no public option, the only radical thing is probably the individual mandate (which was first put out there by McCain) but if we don't have it the insurance companies will fail because people will only buy it when they get sick, so the insurance companies will only be in service for sick people and go out of business. Individual Mandate is actually the most CONSERVATIVE part of it . . . personal responsibility. Quit living off of the kindness of those who buy insurance and pay for your emergency room visits when you get sick, or when you stiff the hospital. Personal responsibility.

Really, I am the most liberal poster on here?:ylsuper:

Radical Ace, is definately mandating nationalized healthcare. FDR, the father of the social welfare state, didn't even begin to tred this water.

So you don't believe in personal responsibility. i thought that was what conservatives were all about.

What he has done, is an action, a policy, changing how America is run. There has been nothing to rebut. No one has given me anything until the last post that talked about the health care mandate.

I think you are wrong on the bolded, but I will re-check. I think that is one of those republican talking points that is not true, but i could be wrong.

Thank you for your response on what you thought were radical actions. I disagree with most of them being radical but I am not sure on the Israel thing. I want to see how that all plays out.

So you don't believe in personal responsibility. i thought that was what conservatives were all about.

I believe in health insurance being purchased on your own accord, and suffering the consequences if you choose not to. The problem is providing healthcare to people using other people's money. I believe that providing for yourself is the very definition of responsibility.

What is insurance now, but spreading the cost over a larger group of people? What consequences do you pay if you don't buy the insurance? You go to the doctor when you get sick and who pays the bill? Are you going to put people in jail who stiff doctors . . . what are the consequences for not buying the insurance? emergency rooms are still going to take you.

The system we have been living by is not perfect, but it is better than anything that the government can provide. The massive overruns of every government program shows that private enterprise is better than government run programs. While the system is not perfect, everyone gets aid when needed.

I agree with your philosophy. But in practice, we all suffer the consequences of these uninsured non payers because it drives up our cost. That is what I do like about everyone being required to get insurance. I am not sure why insurance and health care providers would be opposed to everyone being required to have insurance. It is more customers for the insurance companies and no collection issues or "free" services for health care providers. I would think it would mean more customers for health care providers also.
