Disagreeing with something doesn't make it radical. The fact is that most of what President Obama has done is right in line with the actions of previous presidents. His biggest single action (health care) is a much more moderate version of what had been proposed in this country by many previous presidents. His most radical action is to enact into law some of his campaign promises. You know, now that I think about it, that is a radical departure from the past.

I too think that a lot of the consternation out there results from the fact that policies are actually being put into motion. We haven't seen that in quite a few years. Even then, the policies enacted into law are more moderate than what was on the table during the campaign when the American people elected Obama.
April 16, 201016 yr What is insurance now, but spreading the cost over a larger group of people? What consequences do you pay if you don't buy the insurance? You go to the doctor when you get sick and who pays the bill? Are you going to put people in jail who stiff doctors . . . what are the consequences for not buying the insurance? emergency rooms are still going to take you. I agree that a lack of consequence is certainly the problem.
