The begining of the 3rd qtr Simon Kenton had there 2nd string in the game!

SK still had their starters in with 2 minutes left in the game. That was a gripe of quite a few people last year, including SK fans.

At the start of the 3rd quarter SK had there 2nd string in and got scored on then 1st string was back out there.

When you win say little and when you lose say less! YOU won a game not a state championship. Again SK had a fantastic year; but geez why such hatred toward Ryle. Act like you have been there before! I know you are entitled to your opinion; but I suspect you are going to be wearing some egg within the year JMO :thumb:

Unless there are some major injuries or surprises, the 2 HHS x Ryle games should determine the top team in NKY. Now if they split....:confused:

Your right on this one. Most people think Ryle will be better than S.K. this next season. Dose that mean Ryle will beat them??? 3 years ago Ryle was a much better team than S.K. But becouse of turnovers and bad play calling S.K. won the game. Over the last two years I have watched S.K. and Ryle more than any other teams. One thing I think. S.K. will not be as good as thay were last year. And Ryle will be better than they were last year. IMO!!! Dose that mean Rlye will win, like you said we will find out this fall. :thumb:

I think SK will be better they lost Simpson but all the returning players are going to be alot better and Ryle lost there best players Nicholas, Fugate and Eubank they had 1571 yds recieving thats most of Hempel passing yards i just dont see them being good this year.

SK on defense lost their 2 best lbs, Brown and Kaiser, Safety- Simpson, DL- Piccirilo, Hansel, Deason, Hiedrich, and Hiles. That is just on defense.

 

On offense they lost their whole offensive line and best player Simpson.

 

They have a lot to replace. That is the reason for a lot of doubters on this board.

 

We will see how well Lawrence does when he is the main focus of the defense and with an inexperienced line in front of him.

I think it is the O-lines. Over the last two seasons S.K. had the best O-line I have seen in a long time. And maybe this years will be just as good????????? Ryle is returning all of its O-line. I think you might be surprised how good the recievers will be this year. I just hope it is a good game and everyone comes out healthy.

No way Ryle throws the ball this coming year as much as last year. No matter how many offers Hempel gets from D1 colleges and the amount of lipservice the Ryle faithful believe. They will ride Elliot as far as he can take them and occasionally throw in a slant, fade, or stick route to try and keep defenses some what honest.

I would move Simon Kenton up to #3 and Campbell Co. up to #8. Boone Co. is facing a cross roads year in their program and I just am not sure which direction they are headed. I honestly feel Ryle will be more talented than Highlands but I can't put anyone above Highlands until someone proves it on the field.

More than a handful of underclassmen have quit the team because of the direction they feel the program is going in if a certain player is leading them this coming season.

 

Don't be surprised if Boone is on the outside looking in come playoff time. There are a lot of problems brewing out there right now...atleast from what I've heard.

Yes those three do return a lb this year and for your sake I can only say I hope they got better.
