They are actually going to allow a 4-12 team like Tech in the tournament? They might as well just scrap the regular season and let every team just play the tournament.
April 3, 201016 yr 96 teams in the field does such a better job finding the best team this season than the BCS football system does. We all know that Duke, Butler, Kansas State and WVU is better than Kentucky.:rolleyes: I think you might have meant to say Michigan State there.
April 4, 201016 yr Will this benefit the higher seeds? Or, will it make that opening game tougher for them because their opponent will be coming off a win in the same arena, I suppose? That sounds like the recipe for our first #1 seed losing its opening tournament game at some point. And, I have to ask...what on earth is this going to do to our office pool brackets?

It's pretty much the same as picking the play in game on today's bracket....only now you'll have 32 play in games to pick. :lol:
April 5, 201016 yr Not a fan. As someone else said it will make the regular season less relevant. We're going to have teams with 6-10 conference records get into the tourney. Dreadful. This makes the post season tourneys inconsequential. Why bust your butt for 4 days and then go through the meatgrinder of the tourney's new format?
