Any College Students Going to Keeneland Tomorrow?

Will be "in attendance" playing the card at a distance through the miracle of the simulcast network at River Downs.

I have a friend that is trying to get me to go.

Trust me, the scenery is well worth 3x the price of admission. Lots of pretty fillies, and I'm not talking about the four-legged types.

I must agree.

The funny thing is Keenland probably makes a ton of revenue that day. I doubt the majoirty of the kids even know how to pick a horse.

Gotta work but it will be a FANTASTIC day for Keeneland. When are they gonna have a day for parents of college students?

Me too, but I txt'd my picks to my daughter earlier. Somehow it is just not the same as being there.

I will be going on the 10th. Can't make it this weekend, although I'd love to go.

Word to the wise: If you're underage, do not drink at Keeneland's college day. There are undercover cops EVERYWHERE.

Regarding the legal age to gamble @ Keeneland. I think they'll sell a ticket to anyone, but you have to be 18+ to cash it.

Great heads up, called my daughter and she has already talked with students who got nailed by the undercover police.

It happened to me as well. They are all over, both inside & outside of the track.

Even after I had turned 21 I was ID'd 3 separate times within a 10 minute period. Twice by the same guy. I said what, you didn't believe me 5 minutes ago?

I understand what they're trying to do but it's a little ridiculous. It's simply par for the course for the way every authoritative figure treats students.

You got that right...

I don't know if this is a good thing or not. Mcdaughter cashed on her first two bets.

Beats my last 5 trips to the track.

Every time I go to Keeneland, I seem to pick 4th-place finishers. Maybe daughter has a little more luck picking the ponies.

I know the feeling. Seems like most times I go to the track, my exacta horses come in first and third, and my tri horses run 1-2-4. That's my luck for you.
