April 2, 201016 yr Author I know the feeling. Seems like most times I go to the track, my exacta horses come in first and third, and my tri horses run 1-2-4. That's my luck for you. And every 6-1 to 12-1 shot that I bet across finishes 4th. I obviously need a new system. My grandfather would wait until the post parade and then bet on the horse that "voided" the most. A bit unscientific to be sure; but he was in line to be named to the Maryland State Racing Commission in the 1960s. That is, until the first Republican governor in years and years (the immortal Spiro Agnew) was elected to office.
