This wasn't too hard to call. The first half wa close due to some great defense and Newport just not getting some easy looks to fall. But that all changed in the 3rd qtr with the play of Foster and Sizemore. I love watching this Newport team when they are clicking.

 

As for CovCath. Same old story. Make this teams shoot from the outside and you will win. Am I correct in saying that they were 1-17 from 3pt range this week?

So maybe some of the CovCath faithful who harp about Coach Listerman, will understand that the Coach knows of what he is doing, as CovCath played rather well against this Newport team, when you consider what Newport did to Holmes on Sunday afternoon!

I agree, he got a ton out of that group. Its too bad Mitch Shover couldnt have takent a medical redshirt last year and come back on this year's team. He would have been the missing link. (scoring threat from outside)

After watching what the Wildcats did to Ryle and Holmes, I would be very surprized if the appraisal of Coach L's performance this year is judged anything other than an A+.

No it is not. And I think if you talked to some of the players and their parents, you will learn that many do not feel the way you do. I was actually quite surprised. I think it is quite evident when you see the lack of respect shown to Coach L by so many of the players.

Covering for BGP members that is all. Walter has connections at BOK and hopefully the live updates and analysis was helpful. As far as a beef I didn't get that impression, the CovCath Internet guys seemed friendly to me. I was only squeezed in for the opening round games then I got my spot taken by a certain someone, Walter knows what I'm talking bout. Lol

All I know is I spoke to Kevin Montardo the day of the draw and he said there would be no problem getting us at the table. I show up both games and people are in my seat sitting with a laptop and for the Newport game there was an extra person sitting there doing absolutely nothing but watching the game. No beef at all, I just want to do my job. One of the seats taken had my name on a sheet of paper at the table. I don't care if Kim Jung Il sat at the table as long as he was not in a seat with my name on it.
