February 7, 201412 yr It was a LOOOONG day today. So I'm having a second from my bottle of Colonel Blanton's finest.
February 10, 201412 yr Local liquor store got several cases of Hopslam and I've somehow ended up with a case. Been drinking almost nothing else since then. I'm glad it's 10% ABV because the price hits the wallet pretty hard. First year in a while I haven't scored a sixer of HopSlam. Bowman Field Wine & Spirits currently has one less case in their stack. I'm sipping on a bottle right now.

February 28, 201412 yr I need a game plan. Somebody tell me what to drink and where to drink it. Tomorrow is light beer and basketball day (going to a bar for the entirety of the Dayton/Louisville doubleheader; I should be a walking disaster by 4 pm), so tonight I could go for something else. Any recommendations? Anybody know of a place in Louisville that's got something exciting on tap right now?

I'd offer to meet up with you somewhere, but unfortunately I've got to go to an elementary school fundraiser/auction night up in Oldham County at the school one of my wife's friends teaches at. My one respite is that apparently it's very entertaining getting to watch the semi-privileged moms and dads make drunken fools of themselves.

Used to go there all the time. Maybe tonight's a good night to put it back in the regular rotation.

May 4, 201412 yr This one sounds interesting to me. I really liked the West 6th IPA, and wheat beers are probably my favorite overall. I had the Lemon Wheat last week at a tasting. Honestly I think it might be my favorite West 6th offering. A good one for summer.
