February 9, 201016 yr There is a billboard along I-35 near Wyoming, Minn., with a huge photo of former president George W. Bush and this question: "Miss Me Yet?" http://www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/2010/02/bush_miss_me_yet_billboard_is.html Hilarious!!
February 9, 201016 yr I'll admit that I do miss these: "You teach a child to read, and he or her will be able to pass a literacy test." "I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family." "This foreign policy stuff is a little frustrating." "For every fatal shooting, there were roughly three non-fatal shootings. And, folks, this is unacceptable in America. It's just unacceptable. And we're going to do something about it." "Families is where our nation finds hope, where wings take dream."

February 10, 201016 yr All the more reason to  IMO. Our expectations have sunk so low that we wish for a George W. when we used to wish for a Ronald Reagan or a Bobby Kennedy and many would settle for a Bush or Clinton. :irked:

Our expectations have sunk so low that we wish for a George W. when we used to wish for a Ronald Reagan or a Bobby Kennedy and many would settle for a Bush or Clinton. :irked: My parents who never met a Democrat they wouldn't vote for and a Republican they would never vote for raised me that Ronald Reagan was as bad as George W. Clinton and Bobby Kennedy would be in the top 5 of the greatest Presidents ever in their opinion. Anymore the greatness of a President is determined by the political party you are affliated with.
February 10, 201016 yr If it were Reagan on that billboard, I would utter a hardy "YES I DO". I'll make that two of us... :thumb:

Thus the reason I included Bobby who didn't get that chance. Leaders are leaders and it has everything to do with their person, not their party.
