Another reason to boycott McDonalds

I don't understand the problem with letting McDonald's be a corporate sponsor of her charity event.

Did the girl sing "old McDonald had a farm" at her McFest?

I don't have a problem with them being a sponsor, like any other business. I mean, if she's truly out to raise money for a good cause, their's is just as good as any other business'.

However, for them to get "naming rights" just because their name starts with the same two letters as her event is not right though. And I applaud her for sticking to her guns on that.

Sometimes you just have to shake your head.

What good could possibily come of this for McD's?

Point of clarification. I have no connection to McDonald's/

Mcpapa is pronounced "emcee papa". Not pronounced like McDonald's.

They may sue you because you have the Mc together.

I think her problem is, if she agrees to McDonald's proposal, that McDonald's is still going to get the naming rights to the event. She wants control of her charity event. From a long range perspective, should a larger sponsor, or a competitor come along, McDonald's would have a say in who can participate. In the short term, she would have to hand over, at the minimum, marketing to them, if not complete control. Mickey Ds is already being petty by even challenging her. That would indicate that they would be petty as a corporate sponsor. I can understand her feelings on that.

She is good friends with Rockmom.
I missed the first reason to boycott McDonald's? lol.

High cholesterol, diabetes, high blood pressure, future heart attack, there are plenty of reasons.
