January 8, 201016 yr Saw this scroll across the bottom line, the Seahawks fired Jim Mora Jr, and "sources" say that Caroll is extremely interested, and is attempting to persuade USC OC Jeremy Bates to follow him to Seattle. If this happens, it will be something else. Thoughts?
January 8, 201016 yr Can he do it in the NFL? Can he do it in Seattle? Who goes after the Trojans job
January 8, 201016 yr I think this is probably an indication that the NCAA investigation into the football program is not going well at all. I'd say USC is headed for probabtion and Carroll wants to get out before it happens.
January 8, 201016 yr While I don't blame him for wanted to go back to the NFL I think only a fool would leave USC unless they are going to get in a lot of trouble by the NCAA.
January 8, 201016 yr Man, they get rid of Shaun and they go downhill fast. I'm sorry I used to pull for them, now I don't.
January 8, 201016 yr Pete better look at his own NFL track record. He better stay at USC. Pete didn't do too bad in the NFL. With the right personel, he could do pretty well. With that said, I don't think the Seahawks have the right pieces.
January 8, 201016 yr 6 - 10 10 - 6 9 - 7 8 - 8 Playoff Record 1-2 Not to bad. But he can't recruit in the NFL. Handcuffed by the owners check book.
January 8, 201016 yr Man, they get rid of Shaun and they go downhill fast. I'm sorry I used to pull for them, now I don't. They got rid of Shaun because he couldn't cut it anymore.
January 8, 201016 yr They got rid of Shaun because he couldn't cut it anymore. :thumb: That was painfully obvious when he couldn't catch on to a team to save his life last season.
January 8, 201016 yr Discussion about this in the College Football forum already, but this is probably the more appropriate place for it. I will support him if it happens, but he wouldn't be on my short list.
January 8, 201016 yr Guess the Seahawks have forgotten his relatively pedestrian terms as Jets and Pats coach.
