January 7, 201016 yr I put a post in my old IVF thread but I thought it was more appropriate to start a new one. We had an ultrasound on Monday (30 weeks) and the 3 boys are already breaking records. They weigh 3 lb 5oz, 3lb 9oz and 4lb 1oz. My poor wife is struggling but she is a trooper. Current target date is 2/5. Keep us in your prayers. Will keep you and your family in my prayers man. :thumb: Best of luck man.

I can't imagine having 3 little ones at one time. You both are in my thoughts and prayers.

January 8, 201016 yr What about Alvin, Simon and Theodore? Wife is not a big fan of it. Tell her it beats Larry, Moe and Curly.
January 8, 201016 yr Don't get TOO attatched to your names. My nephew and his wife were told, according to two ultrasounds, that they were having a son. They were very surprised to have a daughter! You may want to have a girl's name warming the bench just in case!

But, you never know.
January 8, 201016 yr Never having been this route, I'm curious how they can determine the individual weights? Is that based on size, kind of like estimating the weight of a bass (I do have some history here) by determining his length and girth???
January 9, 201016 yr Author Never having been this route, I'm curious how they can determine the individual weights? Is that based on size, kind of like estimating the weight of a bass (I do have some history here) by determining his length and girth??? Mustang, they take 4 measurements and the computer calculates an approximate weight (+/- 10%). The 4 measurements are length of femur, length of humerus, circumference of stomach and circumference of head. One great thing about having triplets, is we get to see them twice a week on the ultrasound. They look for 5 things and grade them 2 points each. So far, they have received perfect 10's every time.
