Triplet Update

Featured Replies

If it gives you any comfort my older sister had triplets. They all weighed a little over 4lbs I think. They stayed in the hospital for a bit to be safe. 2 girls 1 boy (1 of the girls suprised them). They are 13 years old and atheltic/smart as heck! My nephew traveled to Mich St this summer to compete in the National Future Problem Solvers. He ave about 2 TD's a game, 21 pts in basketball and baseball might be his best sport. One of the girls is ave about 14 pts a game in basketball. She is playing a lot of Jv as a 7th grader. The other girl is straight A's and ran in the state cross country meet this year as a 7th grader. It was her 1st year running.

I know the stress toward the end of the pregnacy. My sister was beadrest at Central Baptist for about 1 month and a half. I would go see her all the time. It was also scary because they were small but things couldn't have turned out much better than they are now. Keep the faith and enjoy the ride. It's fun now to look back on where they where they were to where they are.

Let me know if you need any help. I'm sure my sister knows of good resources such as cost cutting etc.

Thanks for the story. It lets us know that all this is possible. We have been very fortunate to avoid any hospital stay yet. I keep praying that it stays that way.

Wonderful news!!!:thumb:

That's great! Keep us posted.

Great news! Each day it gets better and better.

I had 12lbs of baby once, but it was ALL ONE BABY! Don't know if it would be easier to have 'broken that number up' or not!

Take care! We'll be praying for your family. We enjoy the updates.

More great news yesterday. Babies are still growing very well. Weights are 4 lb 9oz, 4lb 12 oz and 4lb 13oz (yes, that is a total of 14lb 2 oz). Doctors are very pleased that there are only 4 ounces seperating biggest from smallest.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers. Each day is getting tougher for Mama. But, we are in the home stretch now (33 weeks tomorrow).

Great news!

Give momma a hug--she deserves one!

That is very exciting. I love the updates.

Wow, wow, wow! Please keep us updated! May God give your wife the patience and ability to continue on--I cannot imagine how rough she must be feeling!

Perfect 10's again yesterday. We meet with our doctor today to discuss our "exit strategy." We are trying to figure out the balance between extra time and increased discomfort and pain.
