John Calipari does he worry any of the Kentucky fans?

Featured Replies

He has a history that nobody can deny even though he has not been in trouble he does have a knack for leaving the schools he has been at in a mess.

I think he worries the rest of college basketball fans much more than Kentucky fans.

NO WAY... I truly think he is 100% happy he came to Lexington. He is literally a walking God in Lexington and is fully embracing it.

Sorry I should have checked more older threads before I started this one.

Not criticizing. I'm just saying that you'll get a mix of the following based on past threads:

1. He's a crook.

2. As long as he doesn't hurt UK who cares?

3. It wasn't HIM that got in trouble.

4. As long as he wins.....

5. You just hate UK like Billy Packer.

I am one of the biggest Kentucky fans you will ever find.

With that said, at the back of every fans mind, small or large, there will always be that thought of what has happened and that it may linger on.

Whether or not anything happens here or not, I would think it would be safe to say that this season is probably pretty safe. I think they took the precautionary steps with Wall sitting out the few games to make sure everything was cleared.

Maybe down the road, something will happen - maybe not. I think we're safe this season, atleast.

But like what has already been stated - he has been cleared of wrongdoing. Sadly, his previous two schools have not and that's not a good percentage if you're a Kentucky fan.

I think he knows the scrutiny that he is under at Kentucky. I think Kentucky knows what could possibly happen. Everyone mentions Sandy Bell and this person and that person. I do not think Kentucky will allow it to happen. They will search every crevis to make sure it doesn't.

Some how he will be found not guilty/accountable because he has no idea that any violations ever go on in any of his programs!

6. Kentucky sold their soul.

7. It's just a matter of time before Kentucky is on probation.

Didnt someone post a stat on his NCAA violations vs Rick's? He loves it here, he aint go nowhere, let it go.

Excatly! Go Cats.

I won't lie, he worries me.

I can only hope he has learned from past mistakes.

I'll be very worried around the time he retires or leaves for another job. Things seem to go down hill quickly when he leaves a program.

I have zero worries about Calapari as head coach of my State University. The Rose situation was handled completely wrong by the NCAA and the ruling will be overturned IMHO. Memphis will get their wins back, and as a result, Coach will get his final 4 back. The Umass situation, im not sure you guys are aware of this, was reported to the NCAA by CALAPARI HIMSELF. Camby was an idiot, took money from an agent, Cal turns the University in...I have no worries AT ALL with Coach Cal.

Maybe I have ignorant, but I was extremely pumped when I knew we had a chance to go after Calipari and I'm just just as excited today. If I have to eat crow one day I will, but I'm not worried at all. (Someone can quote this and save it for a later date if they would like lol)
