January 2, 201016 yr We know all about your high and mighty SEC. Fact is Bama is the best team but after that there are a lot of good teams and the games would have to play out. Who's to say TCU or Boise couldn't beat FL? Is that a sin to post as well? Nope. I just don't think OSU is any better than UC. The Gators would whip the Bucks IMO.
January 2, 201016 yr Tebow is obviously good, but just about any halfway decent college QB would be putting up huge numbers in this game if he was allowed to stand in the pocket for 5-6 seconds and take his choice of open WR's. That's how UC got to this point in the season, playing against teams with poor defenses.
January 2, 201016 yr Nope. I just don't think OSU is any better than UC. The Gators would whip the Bucks IMO. :ohbrother: Yeah I think most would take UC over OSU. Again, once upon a time Oregon had one of the best "offenses" in the county.

That would have been a fun game.
January 2, 201016 yr :ohbrother: Yeah I think most would take UC over OSU. Again, once upon a time Oregon had one of the best "offenses" in the county. So did Purdue right? You are going to take OSU's best game and compare it to UC's worst... not quite fair.
January 2, 201016 yr I think if Dunlop had played, Florida would have beat Bama. I would have loved to have seen TCU and Florida play. That would have been a fun game. TCU and FL would be a nice game. But Bama would have still won the game even with FL having Dunlap. Bama is very good.

January 2, 201016 yr So did Purdue right? You are going to take OSU's best game and compare it to UC's worst... not quite fair. UC's defense would prevent them from being able to beat OSU.

If UF played this well they would have had a shot. Don't know if one DE makes up for nearly 20 points though. May have gotten some more pressure on McElroy, but Bama kept UF so off balance I don't know if it would have mattered. JMO.
January 2, 201016 yr So did Purdue right? You are going to take OSU's best game and compare it to UC's worst... not quite fair. Like I said most would agree with you and pick UC over OSU. How about your Tigers today? Teams do get better as the season goes on.
January 2, 201016 yr Why would we expect TCU/UF to be a better game? TCU has a great defense unlike UC. I think it's one of the 4 or 5 best in the country. Also I think they have a more balanced offense. And, they actually have their head coach coaching which obviously would make some difference. TCU doesn't beat UF on a night like tonight, but on most days I think they would have a shot (though Boise will beat them in the bowl, just have a bad feeling about it).
January 2, 201016 yr Like I said most would agree with you and pick UC over OSU. How about your Tigers today? I'm not quite sure who my Tigers are to be honest? I said I think OSU and UC are about the same this year and there's really not much to dispute that.
January 2, 201016 yr Nope. I just don't think OSU is any better than UC. The Gators would whip the Bucks IMO. :thumb: Yes they would.
