Maybe Meyer runs it up any chance he gets and then cries when things don't go his way. He had the nerve to get mad at UGA and Mark Richt a few years ago when his teams do the same thing. Maybe UF doesn't run on the field to celebrate a TD, but Meyer rarely shows class either.

I know how he is, I was really being sarcastic.:ohbrother:

You mean like when Kentucky left John Wall and a couple of other starters in the game late in a blowout against Hartford?

I would never say UK didn't run up the score and pout about it when someone called Cal out on it though. Running it up is running it up no matter who the team is or how you slice it. It's distasteful to me. I like teams to show respect. UC is overmatched and it's obvious. UF dominated the game. End it.

Heck every time they throw the ball they complete it, so they are not stopping the clock.

Bama passed for 239 yards in that game. Dunlop would have a made a difference. Enough to win, who can say? But it was only a six point game at the half.

Sounds like Coach Saban made great adjustments at halftime...

My mistake man :thumb:.

But IMO, the team that is losing must submit first.

Plenty of that 239 was play action and quick stuff. Ingram had like 80 of that on a screen pass for instance. Dunlap for all of his hype does not do that much IMO. I think Cunningham is way more consistent for them.

I'm not complaining, I could care less. UC's job is to stop them, but at some point most coaches would substitute or something. Meyer wanted sympathy this week, and stuff like this will make it tougher for him to get it.

I am not going to claim that Dunlap was the difference in the loss to Bama, but what is in bold is an opinion I think is way off. He is a player and likely a top ten draft pick.

I just don't see it as running up the score. If Tebow comes back on the field and UF starts calling timeouts to get the ball back, then it's running up the score. Maybe Florida should just take a knee. That certianly would make the Bearcats feel good about themselves.

Get you're facts straight now. He put him back in for a couple of minutes and he passed to the subs who scored and got his two assists and then was promply removed.

I agree :thumb:

Well, well, well here was a timeout....what do ya know?

You said it was UC's job to stop them and it is. But, over the course of the last 3+ quarters it has became obvious that they can not do it. UF has a comfortable lead, end the game. Throwing a bomb up by nearly 30 late in the 2nd half is distasteful no matter how you slice it or who you want to defend. Meyer has awlays ran the score up and that is a fact.

So what you're saying is, John Wall was on the floor late in a blowout so that Kentucky could score more points? And by definition, how is that not running up the score?

Over on this game was the lock of the year, being the fact UF has almost covered it.

You're right, I misworded that. I meant to say that he doesn't do as much as he gets credit for. He is obviously a great player. I just don't think he makes UF that much better or worse, except for having another athletic body on the DL. He doesn't make up 20 points is what I meant. My mistake. :thumb:

Refresh my memory, was UK pressing and trapping in this situation?
