One of the more interesting bootleg tapes that I had way back in the day was a combination of Led Zeppelin IV and Neil Diamond's greatest hits. Made me and my mom both happy.
January 7, 201016 yr Author I've been trying to come up with a list, seeing as how stuff like this is right in my wheelhouse. Two songs that just came to me (well, yesterday actually, as I heard one of them on the radio) that I'm pretty sure you would love are by the Bottle Rockets: "Indianapolis" "Welfare Music" Frankly, you'd be OK just getting both the albums that these songs appear on, as they're both quite good: "The Brooklyn Side," which also features a tune that got some minor rock radio airplay back in the day called "Radar Gun," as well as the excellent "Thousand Dollar Car." "24 Hours A Day" Their self-titled debut is quite good as well, and actually better than "24 Hours A Day." Just got these two. :thumb:
