Brian Brohm Starting for Bills

Featured Replies

Akili Smith - all the arm strength in the world, yet he couldn't throw it in the ocean.:idunno:

He could not read a defense to save his life. I see a lot of him in Jamarcus.

IN reality he has never struggled to read a defense.

You're exactly right. He's never struggled to read a defense in the NFL, cause he's never played.

Brohm's biggest problem was that he got Kragthorped.

Hopefully the fresh start will do him well, but QB's ain't exactly lit it up in Buffalo since....... well since Jim Kelly and the K gun hung it up in the 90's.

Neither did Montana, Drew Brees, or Troy Aikman...

Athletes have gotten stronger & faster since the days of Montana & Aikman and Brees is one of the most accurate passers in NFL history.

How is this so? I don't really follow UL. Did Krag change his mechanics and reads? I just don't think he faced many quality D's and you can argue most college QB's don't however, the NFL scheme has been a big adjustment for him. Wish him the best.

That's the million dollar question???

Brohm is 6/12 for 51 yards and a pick so far in the first half today.

finished 17-29 for 146, 0TD and 1 Int...

I didn't see the last int.. I don't know if he has what it takes to be a starter or even a back-up.

Looks like Fitzpatrick numbers...

Like to see him get one more start here at the end of the year. As of now, looks like a bust. Maybe be able to stick on a roster as a backup.

It sucks man.. those aren't even back up QB numbers but it was one game. I hope they keep him on active roster and let him learn the NFL game. It is way to fast for him right now.

I think he could be a decent backup... he has always been a smart player. Atl is pretty good, but certainly not what Brohm was hoping for today.
