This shocks me. I thought that he has done a great job.

He has. He didn't get fired. He is resigning on his own and still wants to coach.

He said he still had a burning desire to coach, but it was time for him to step back and take a deep breath. Even if it ended up being a short one. :idunno:

Sad day for BS but the program is in much better shape now then when Coach Lucas started, hopefully the next coach can pick up and keep it moving in the right direction

That is a good possibility.

He has done an EXCELLENT job in rebuilding BS. Hate to see this for them, but he won't be looking for a job for long.
