Eagles travel to the fieldhouse to take on the Royals Friday night.

Thoughts?

I think Scott will win this one by a close margin.

Scott by 2

I'll take the Royals in a close one.

Mason has to play much better in this one than they did Monday,If not it won't even be close.I look for Mason to put a good game together here though.

I'll take the Eagles in this one. I just think MC doesn't match up well with them.

Scott 57

Mason Co 53

Scott has a rough schedule to start as 3 of their first 4 games are againt Male, Mason County, and Lexington Catholic. They took care of Male in convincing fashion and now its time to take care of business with Mason. Should be a great game as this pits the #2 versus the #3 team in the 10th region.

Who is the starting line up for Mason Co.? I heard the real big kid quit because of football?

What big kid are you talking about?

The Pawsat kid was fairly big and tall, and he did not quit because of football. He got injured during football season and hasnt been able to play basketball so far.

I take scott 63-54. I didn't get the chance to see Scott play till last night against Harrison County, and they looked real good. They have a good player in Junior Cameron Haynes he really had a good game last night, which caught me off guard because he is a first year starter, and he is not talked about much. Other reasoning is that (correct me if I am wrong) that Mason County had a tough time getting the win against Holy Cross (who is definatley having a down year this year). If they want to beat Scott, they are going to have to come with their best game, because I guarantee Scott will.

Mason probably wins at home, but it will give us a good chance to see how they stack up without Pawsett against one of the better 10th region teams. If they don't bring it, Scott will have a chance. But I will still go with Mason by 8.

If the Royals play like I heard they played on Monday, Scott takes this one.

Was at the Mason Co/Holy Cross game and was not impressed with how Mason Co played. With that being said they are used to winning games and am pretty sure they have heard all week that this might be the year for Scott to have a shot at beating them.

I expect Mason Co to come out fired up and hitting on all cylinders for this home game. Scott is extremely athletic and has the potential to be outstanding on the defensive side of the ball.

I think it is a toss up as to who wins this week.

Good early season test for both teams and regardless of the outcome expect both to continue to improve over the course of the season.
