I think that the response was meaning Jeffersonville, but accidently put Jtown. Coach Weiter is not going anywhere, he did a great job this past season and has a lot coming back.

Yes, BGP is fun but it doesn't pay all the bills. I have to get up at 530am and go to my real job.

Anyone on this? I hear Coach R is looking real hard at Jtown...

If you meant Jeffersonville, then yeah this talk has been circulating since last December, if not a little bit sooner. Seems to be a substantial difference in money requested and money "offered" to seal the deal. The Superintendent (Daeschner) seems to have a strong influence on "urging" Redman to Jeff. Either way, this seems to be dragging on a little too long, interviews were supposedly completed last Friday and money was still the huge issue. Seems like the team (parents, boosters & administrators alike) would want to know who their coach is by now!

You are correct, my error.

Heard that he officially informed Male administration that he intends to leave. Anyone?

I'll see some parents at church tonite and I'll ask, report back later.

Yes, it is confirmed he had a meeting with his players this morning, and announced he is leaving Male.

Any idea who may be next?

Where is he going?

I think that Curtis Higgins would be one of their choices. He and Redman are longtime buddies and I am sure he has had some say into who will replace him. He was an assistant there and I think this job is what lured him here from Trigg.

Why would Coach Redman want to leave Male now? To go to Indiana!!

Open enrollment in Indiana. Jeff is solid in all sports except football, a huge school and he can get kids from Louisville if he wants.

Plus, I assume he gets two paychecks correct? Retirement and new gig?

As for a replacement, remember the name Chris Wolfe.

He is gone. Bye Bye.
