UC has an explosive offense and could pass for 4 TD's on anyone on any given day. They just can't stop anyone. FL always has some decent corners how many are pro's I dont know, I remember when they had Ratliff I thought he was going to be good. I think UC will come out firing though.

 

I understand what you're saying. While that's a possibility, I think it remains to be seen how Cincy stacks up with UF athletically. I think if UC matches up there well they would have a real shot.

I don't think UC can stop Floridas ground game. Tebow and Demps will have huge rushing games.

^No respect for UF's defense? Pike is good, but I wouldn't imagine many teams are going to throw for 4 TD's against the Gators. They have a projected top 10-15 pick in Haden, Jenkins who after next year could be a huge NFL prospect, and some good safeties.

They have a 6'6", 6'7" QB who has one of the strongest arms in college football." I think Pike can have his way with UF's defense if his line gives him time. Then again he normally gets the ball out quick. The problem will be UC stopping UF's offense.

My mistake. I thought most believed UC would struggle to stop UF's ground game, which is why I left it out.

I do not know about have his way. Word is that all 11 of UF defensive starters will be drafted and play in the NFL. That is pretty impressive.

I doubt he will have the time, Cincinnati has never faced a faster front seven, they will get after Pike so relentlessly that I wouldn't be surprised to see him put up numbers similar to what Troy Smith put up against Florida in the National Championship Game three years ago. I know he's tall, but UF has faced three very, very good college quarterbacks in their last three bowl games, all three of which have different ways of doing things. I don't think they'll be seeing something completely new.
