Now, if you leave, that's another story, but I can guarentee you the KHSAA isn't going to foot the bill for enough event staff to clear the place out after each game.

That would probably cost more than the revenue they might get.

At last years Finals you could stay for all the games. we got there prior to our game and watched all of the 4a game before us.

We did the same thing for our finals... that is why I was surprised about the necessity to purchase for each individual game. Thanks!

I was notified by Julian Tackett earlier today that six-game passes apparently aren't available at WKU like they have been at Papa Johns. He said those were sold in advance at the schools (last month) and only game-by-game tickets are available now. I was definitely surprised by this.

That is what I was told too. Don't make much sense. :idunno:

 

I have a buddy that is stuck with 4 sets of those tickets seems some of his party backed out. :ohbrother:

May I make an entreaty?

 

If you have tickets to several games, please allow the actual fans/parents/siblings/friends of the schools playing to have the seats near the field.

 

One year, I went to all of the games, and sevral times I saw people who were there for one game refuse to give up their seats for the next school's fans.

 

If you're really a fan, that's cool to stay there. But one game in particular sticks out in my mind because the people who stayed over actually antagonized the fans of the team who were there to cheer their team on.

A little common courtesy goes a long way! Enjoy the games... but give up the seat for the team's that are playing....

There is no way. People have an inflated view as to how many people attend these state final games which is why I have never understood all the parking concerns and accommodation concerns of Bowling Green. With the exception of an X/T game, there are always a lot more empty seats than occupied ones.

 

I have seen the grid, and parking is going to suck...there is no way around it...there is $8 parking in the Creason lot, but that's a crappy walk as well...other than that, the venue will be fine...well, unless your TD.

Nothing has changed from past years. In the past, the school coaches didn't buy all of the all session passes, but this year they did. That makes a difference. They have had ticket order forms on the internet for the better part of six weeks, that how lots of people got them. Frankly, if you want to stay all day, probably no one will run you out is my guess. But who the heck wants to stay all day, be captive to concession food, and not at least see some other part of the town. From what I can read, nothing has changed in years with their procedures.

I didn't realize I had been buying leftovers for all these years. Having a two-day pass usually makes for a cheaper price. When it was in Louisville, we would leave between games and walk up to the Burger King, Arby's, or Cracker Barrel to eat and warm up. That's the plan for this season as well - definitely not captive to the concession stand!
