There's also a really nice place downtown called 440 on Main. It's nice, but a little pricey.

There's a Zaxby's right around the corner....eat there, and you're good...great tailgating fare.

If its BBQ you want you cant leave BG without trying Smokey Pig on 31-W.Montana Grill is the place my group is gathering on thursday night..I lived in BG for 21 yrs and that is the place i am taking all the boosters...But BG has got a lot of options....If you want sushi or Japanese Shogun is my Favorite...

Unless it closed, there's been one there since I went to school there back in the early 90s. I still remember how thrilled I was, especially considering how awful I found Krystal burgers to be.

WC out Scottsville Rd near the interstate (exit 22). FYI, back in the mid/late 80's I heard that Bowling Green was one of only two cities (don't know the other one) that had BOTH WC & Krystals.

It was there last summer when we were headed to Gulf Shores. I got two White Castles and two Krystals to compare them side by side. The White Castles won by a wide margin.

I still like to stop at Krystal when I get the chance.

What about Godfather's pizza? Is there still a Godfather's in BG?

If I'm not mistaken, BG is also the furthest south you can find White Castle (or is it furthest north you can find Krystal?). Or maybe that was the case at one time.

I guess Judy's Castle and Mary's are long gone, considering it's been 34 years.
