November 29, 200916 yr IMO UKs bonehead Coaches made a huge mistake taking the ball out of Cobbs hands and leaving Newton at QB when they were on the ten yard line and had to settle for a field goal that tied it up...SC all over again...:ohbrother:

November 29, 200916 yr Author Much like the Mississippi State game, you'd be hard pressed to not want to blame the defense for not being able to stop a running back. I blame the offense. Whoever you want to blame. Joker, Newton, Cobb (only for turnovers). Whoever. The fact is the offense couldn't do enough to keep the defense off the field, and they got gassed and could no longer stop Hardesty. When they were given a chance to win it with 1st and 10 from the 13, they couldn't convert, gaining only 7 yards, with the crown jewel being the call of a sweep with Newton on 3rd Down. In OT the play and playcalling was atrocious. Newton throws it low, Allen can't catch it though he certainly could have. Terrible call on the option loses 6 yards.
