UK will find a way to lose. They always do at UT. Crompton will have the game of his career and Newton will look like he did in the first half against GA.

It's at Commonwealth.

Just like they did at Auburn and just like they did at Georgia.

UK might lose this game, ... but one thing we have seen over and over again the past 4 years is that Brooks' teams often win games that nobody gives them a chance to win. They have a habit of breaking long standing streaks, and I certainly hope that this will be the next streak to fall.

I certainly hope they find a way to end this one but just don't see it happening. UK has probably been the better team on paper going into this game the past 2-3 years and have found ways to lose. UK is snake bit when it comes to UT and UF.

The one thing a win over UGA guarantees, is a crazy poll number.

Kentucky 20-17.

That and a better Bowl. :thumb:

Sorry, that should have said against UT.

I have to go with Tennessee in this one. Cats have let me down way too many times in this match up. I'm putting the little pink pony avatar up for another week in this game if anybody wants in.

I just read a stat that in the 3 SEC road wins over Auburn, Georgia and Vanderbilt the Cats have a total of only 7 penalties, and 2 turnovers.

Ok here is UK's game plan for success.

1. Micah Johnson blitz's every play and stops Hardesty and Brown. Stop the run and UT won't score enough on Crompton's arm to win.

2. Line up in the ace formation and run cobb's and locke's leggs to the outside, on sweeps, tosses, and the kitchen sink. UT's linebackers are slow and out of place a lot. Take advantage.

Do that and they will repeat Ole Miss' beat down of the Vols. Don't do that and it will be another Nov. loss to UT.

Crompton is pretty bad but I think he has improved a lot and got a lot more comforatable with the UT offense. At the start of the year I thought he was probably about in the 115-120 range of D-1 (FBS, whatever it is called) QB's. However, he gained confidene agaisnt that horrible Georgia D that allowed him to put up Drew Brees type numbers that game and he has been at least mediocore and not downright terrible since.

I am going down for the game and just might jump the wall to take down the goalposts!

GO CATS! CATS CATS CATS

Surprised so many people are picking UK. I'm not getting my hopes up. Here is how they did agaisnt common opponents: (check my numbers, I did this quick)

@UF 23 UT 13

UF 41 @ UK 7

Auburn 26 @ UT 22

UK 21 @ Auburn 14

UT 45 @ UGA 19

UK 34 @ UGA 27

@Bama 12 UT 10

Bama 38 @UK 20

@UT31 SC 13

@SC 28 UK 26

@UT 31 Vandy 16

UK 24 @Vandy 13

Record in games:

UT 4-2

UK 3-3

Points in games

UT: Points for 152, Points allowed 109

UK: Points for 125, Points agaisnt 161

Maybe it is just because I'm tired of getting my hopes up agaisnt UT and losing at the end but I don't think UK will win. They could win but I won't call it. It was easy to call the UGA win (terrible D) and I had a good feeling about the Auburn game as well. Hope I"m wrong!

Cats come up just short again. Tennessee's defense will just be too much for Newton to handle. Hope I'm wrong. Vols by 3.

Cobb and Locke too?

Cats win 24-20, I picked the Ga game so I'm very Hot right now. :taz:
