I was trying to think about it, But I agree now...The knee injury has slowed him, But he still has that break away speed...

Ya he will get it back though hopefully, he was a lot of fun too watch the first time I saw him his freshman year. That's what I love about him and Cobb it's good to see players like them and McCluster that flew under the recruiting world buzz come out and beat the "all world" people.

This will be U.K.'s best shot at Tennessee in a long, long time and they may not have another good chance at them in a long time. I would love to see it and it is hard to pick U.K. seeing how the Cats haven't won since the cave man days. I have picked against the Cats a few times this season, including at UGA and they have proven me wrong. I may be giving U.K. the kiss of death but here it goes.

Kentucky 28

Tennessee 27

Kentucky 13-6

Tennessee is held to a pair of field goals.

Lane Kiffin is welcomed back to Tennessee with a upset Vol fanbase.

Just think, two points away at USC and falling apart against Miss. St. and this could be 10-2... with a team that just didn't look good. They're doing just enough on offense to win games.

If Hartline was available then the argument for the worst SEC qb could be laid to rest.

This ran through my head so many times as UK was taking over the UGA game. Would you agree that this team is the worst out of the last 4 years talent wise and to think we could be legit 9-2

Well, I had a great feeling and called UK's wins over Auburn and UGA. I have a bad feeling about this one. Eric Berry and UT's defense are too good.

I am going with the Cats. I expect a very tough battle, but think that the momentum after last week's win and it being senior night for so many solid UK seniors, that they will break another long standing streak.

UK 28

UT 26

I spoke to a Chick-fil-a spokesman at the Miss. State game and trust me if UK gets to 8 wins thats where they are going. The city of Atlanta wants Lexington down there. Having said that I have UK 21 UT 17. Off to Catlanta!!!

Could Berry be getting some help back this week?

Knox County prosecutors today dropped attempted aggravated armed robbery charges against University of Tennessee football player Janzen Jackson.

The DA's office said in a press release that the decision "was made after an intensive investigation by the Knoxville Police Department, numerous interviews of persons with any relevant information on these charges and reveiws of more than 10 hours of video and audio records related to the charges."

"The investigation and careful review of all relevant evidence failed to show ... Ms. Montmarquet or Mr. Jackson has prior knowledge that the attempted robbery was going to take place and were unaware something had occurred until after they pulled out of the Pilot store," according to the DA's statement.

"Therefore, there is an insufficient legal basis to continue a prosecution against them.

I was a skeptic before the Auburn & Georgia games, but now:

I Believe!!

I wish him well with the injury/rehab and all, I don't want to see anyone hurt.

Having said that facts are facts and proof is in the play. This U.K. football team is much better without Hartline, I never could understand him in the starting role. U.K, aside from winning some games this U.K. team just seems to respond better/play harder with Newton and/or the other QB's. Hartline imo is not a leader. Even when he is interviewed he comes off like a jerk (to me anyway)

I think he gave them the best chance to win. However, the injury has allowed Newton to receive a baptism by fire. He is progressing and given how he has improved, it may be difficult for Hartline to win the job back next season.

Cats come up just short again. Tennessee's defense will just be too much for Newton to handle. Hope I'm wrong. Vols by 3.

UK will find a way to lose. They always do at UT. Crompton will have the game of his career and Newton will look like he did in the first half against GA.

Just like they did at Auburn and just like they did at Georgia.

UK might lose this game, ... but one thing we have seen over and over again the past 4 years is that Brooks' teams often win games that nobody gives them a chance to win. They have a habit of breaking long standing streaks, and I certainly hope that this will be the next streak to fall.
