I was told about a month ago that Western Kentucky was supportive of Coach Elson and where the program was slowly going.

 

I am surprised, based on what I had been told.

The AD said he would wait until 2012 to make the call. Looks like maybe someone with a little more weight than the AD called this one.

Who is on WKU short list?

 

Joker Phillips? Could he get a call?

Seriously, find me eLson's greatest achievement. Their one win over a D1 program (MTSU two years ago)? Their one playoff win while he was there (waaaaay back in 2003, the year after Harbaugh handed him the defending 1AA champs)?
