November 9, 200916 yr :idunno: Our two best offensive players didn't even play. Look I root for UK to win every game, go to a few home games a year and consider myself a fan. This team is not very good, they are a BCS school in the best conference in the land and beat the 46th ranked FCS team.....a game that was 17-6 at half....... You guys think Newton is better than Hartline, but when you don't blow them out you say Hartline wasn't playing.....................Cobb I'll give you. This team is not just bad, they are borderline very bad........but I will give this...Louisville is ATROCIOUS

Saying that are bad because of this game is hysterical.
November 9, 200916 yr So what fella. That means zip as far as gauging talent. You are a bitter guy though, so it's okay man. Am I bitter? How so? UK has no effect on me, their fans do, but that's more enjoyment than anything. You see the bulk of fans on here actually think there team is good, and claim SEC superiority over us fans for the Big East, yet the program wallows in the depths of the SEC......meaning they are bottom feeders in a good football conference. That makes them bad.
November 9, 200916 yr The quotes below though make it seem like you think they have no talent. They have talent, they just aren't using them to the best of their ability. I understand that there were some folks missing, that's fine and dandy. I mainly feel that Brooks is at the top of what he can do for UK, and I am not sure that Joker can take them further.
November 9, 200916 yr You have your opinion, I have mine. Saying that are bad because of this game is hysterical. They are bad because of Florida's first quarter, the Louisville game, the MSU game, the USC second half, and this first half.
November 9, 200916 yr They are bad because of Florida's first quarter, the Louisville game, the MSU game, the USC second half, and this first half. That is fine... you can say they are bad because of certain spots in the season, but we can't say they are good when they have looked good? Sounds like a great way to judge teams.

Sounds like a great way to judge teams. They have looked good ONCE, against Auburn. You can't use the second half of games against teams that they severely out man.
November 9, 200916 yr They have looked good ONCE, against Auburn. You can't use the second half of games against teams that they severely out man. I watch every game... how many do you watch? Saying they are bad is relative I guess. Are they bad in the SEC? Yes. They are an upper tier team in the Big East IMO.

November 9, 200916 yr U of L is a joke......doesn't change how bad Kentucky is. :ohbrother: You and I both know that the only reason you use terms like 'terrible' and 'a garbage team' is to get a rise out of UK fans. UK is right now a bottom rung, middle of the pack SEC team. In another conference, they are MUCH higher. But they aren't. They are an average team in the toughest football conference in the country. But I still love em.

November 10, 200916 yr I watch every game... how many do you watch? Saying they are bad is relative I guess. Are they bad in the SEC? Yes. They are an upper tier team in the Big East IMO. Big East has 8 teams....so they are top 8......they would be 5th best team in the BE.
November 10, 200916 yr Big East has 8 teams....so they are top 8......they would be 5th best team in the BE. The only two teams that I think are for sure better are UC and Pitt. After that, I see no reason why UK couldn't beat the likes of USF, UCONN, Rutgers, etc.

That makes them bad. I am a state of Kentucky football fan. I pull for UK and every team that plays against UofL. With that being said, UK's program is not exactly wallowing... UofL is stuck in the mud and will be for a long time to come. I would rather be where UK is now, in a very strong conference, attending bowl games vs. UofL staying home for the holidays in a wallowing conference!
